In the spirit of Memorial Day and upcoming Fourth of July, pingg and Operation Gratitude have joined forces to create a Gratitude Card collection to express appreciation for deployed service members and to raise awareness for the Operation Gratitude mission.
We need YOUR help to build the “Gratitude Card” collection!
Share your expressions of gratitude in the following ways:
Complete this sentence in 10 words or less: “I’m grateful to the troops (for/because)….”
OR
In your own 10 words (or less) describe what gratitude to those who serve means to you
We will select 8 expressions as taglines for the Gratitude Card collection to be featured on pingg.com! Submissions from all ages are welcome. We’d love to hear from kids! They always have fun ways of expressing things. Submit as many expressions as you like. Submissions will also be printed and included in the Operation Gratitude care packages.
Submit your expressions in email to opgratitude@pingg.com
Submissions must be received by June 18th to be considered for the Gratitude Card collection.

Operation Gratitude (www.OperationGratitude.com) annually sends 100,000+ care packages filled with snacks, entertainment items and personal letters of appreciation addressed to individually named U.S. Service Members deployed in hostile regions such as Iraq and Afghanistan, and on Naval ships at sea. The mission is to lift morale, bring a smile to a service member’s face and express to our Armed Forces the appreciation and support of the American people. Each package contains donated product valued at ~$125 and costs the organization $15 to assemble and ship. For safety and security, assembling of packages occurs at the Army National Guard armory in Van Nuys, California. Since its inception in 2003, Operation Gratitude volunteers have shipped more than 545,000 packages to American Military deployed overseas.
