Tagged Assemblage by Craig Wills
I recently discovered Craig Willis’ amazing Tumblr Twenty Six Types, a collection that celebrates letters through pictures of the 26 letters of the alphabet. The twist on this seemingly simple idea is that Willis finds pictures of each letter in various different typographies. Willis finds the images primarily through photos that others post online as well as those that he takes or creates himself. You will be surprised to see all of the fun and sometimes unexpected places that people find letters. Letters are found and photographed from storefronts, labels, neon signs, graffiti and even a Winnebago! I’ve included some of my favorite below, but there are a ton more to check out on the Twenty Six Types blog site.
