To kick-off the summer party season and to continue supporting the pingg designer community, we’re hosting a Retro Summer Design Challenge!

What Will Win This Challenge?

Beautiful designs that express your creativity and inspire people to want to celebrate this summer!

How to Enter:

Please send a maximum of three designs to ladamo@pingg.com and add them to your pingg collection by June 22nd.

The pingg team will choose the top 20 designs from all of the submissions, which will be “pinned” to the contest’s Pinterest board on http://pinterest.com/pingg/.

The Pinterest public will then decide the winners by adding their favorite design to their favorites list or by repinning it. The three designs with the most likes and repins will win first, second, and third place prizes!

We will also be sending an announcement to our pingg subscriber list encouraging them to visit Pinterest and like their favorite design.

What to Consider When Creating Your Design:

These are some important elements we will be considering when choosing the top 20 designs:

1) How well does the design communicate the host’s message? There should be enough space for personalization while setting the style and tone for the event. We’ve found that hosts prefer 6-8 lines of text space to communicate the details of the event.

2) How balanced is the design? Graphic elements shouldn’t overwhelm the design. Text boxes should be placed away from the edges of the design.

3) Do the colors within the design blend? Chosen colors should work together while allowing the host’s message to be legible. Colors should also give the design that “vintage” feel.

We’ve put together a Theme Board for some inspirations!

What You Could Win:

The first prize winner will receive $200, the second prize winner will win $100, while the third will receive $50.

Winning designs will also be featured at the top of our Summer Invitations collection.

If you have any questions please email Laura: ladamo@pingg.com

Good Luck!
