My Personal Assistant: pingg’s Guest List Manager

pingg: List Management
Who doesn’t need a few extra hands around?
It’s about this time in the year that I wish I had a personal assistant. Really, who doesn’t? Given the fact that I’m not getting one anytime soon, I’m resigned to doing it all myself. Finding the perfect gifts, sorting out travel plans and managing the guest list for my annual party (I need to know who is coming so I can plan accordingly) are a just a few things on my to-do list.
The good news is I know that I can shave a large chunk of time off of my to-do list with pingg. As a longtime event planner, having a way to easily and simply manage my guest list is a lifesaver.
With pingg, I can track of all my RSVPs in one place with the Event Manager, I can have RSVP updates emailed directly to me, I can see who opened my online invite and I can even see who visited my event web page (don’t pretend you didn’t see my invite - I can tell). I can manually add the names of my friends, who INSIST on calling me with their RSVP, to my master guest list. I can tag & sort, even group the guest list. The best part is I can export my guest list and hand it directly to my doorman so he doesn’t have to call me every time a guest shows up, he can just check the list.
So I’ve got the guest list management under control. Off to tackle the rest of my list - - party dress (Hautelook), travel plans (Tablet Hotels), great gifts (Vivre, Moma Store) and great wine for the party (Bottlenotes).
