And the Winner is…

Photo: Rachael Fox
Earlier this summer we launched our first ever amateur photography competition. From Coney Island to Greenpoint, the Brooklyn Bridge to Prospect park–Brooklyn, with it’s numerous neighborhoods, seemed to be the prefect city to feature in our first photography competition. We called for submissions that showed the true pride and spirit of Brooklyn.
Hundreds of submissions later, we saw Brooklyn through the eyes of Brooklynites. We selected 15 finalists and opened the voting polls to you, to select the #1 shot. Thousands of votes later, we saw the true spirit of Brooklyn come alive. To put it simply, Brooklynites love their Borough.
All 15 finalists will have their photo turned into an invitation and ecard to be added to our upcoming Brooklyn Designer Series! And our grand prize winner will receive a Fujifilm FinePix F200EXR Digital Camera Pack, a $450 value.
So the votes are in, and your grand prize winning photo was taken by Rachael Fox. The winning image, ”Blue”, was taken at 344 Clarkson Ave, Crown Heights, Brooklyn.
The Brooklyn Photography Competition was a first for pingg and surely will not be the last. We’re currently seeking suggestions for our next city. Have any ideas? VOTE NOW for the next city in pingg’s Photography Competition Series.
Check out the winning image and the finalists who will be included in our Brooklyn Designer Series coming soon!>>
