If you’re like me, Fall Fashion Week in NYC cannot come soon enough. While my chances of sitting front row, between Anna Wintour and Sarah Jessica Parker, at the Diane Von Furstenberg show are unlikely, I still cannot wait for the kickoff of the Fall Fashion season. Most likely, I will share in the excitement of Fashion Week from the comforts of my couch with a stack of my favorite reading material, Vogue, Bazaar and Elle, by my side.
Just in case my reading material doesn’t give me enough of a behind-the-scenes look into New York Fashion Week, famed fashion and society photographer Patrick McMullan comes to the rescue with his exclusive pingg Designer Series collection of invitations and ecards. Flashing lights at the end of a runway, the tents at Bryant Park, and models standing around in bright-colored heels are some of my favorites.
Patrick, a world renowned photographer, has been featured in publications such as New York Times Magazine and Vogue. His international contributions include Harper’s Bazaar, Details, Tatler and Out. Along with his photography, Patrick writes columns for Allure, Interview, Hamptons, Ocean Drive, Gotham and, most notably, a weekly New York Magazine column, “Party Lines.” As a contributing editor at Vanity Fair, TV Host on the VOOM HD Network and author, his latest book is Glamour Girls, a collection of the world’s most celebrated women– Patrick is an expert on fashion, nightlife and style.
