Will Your City Be Next?

This summer pingg launched its very first photography competition. Our goal was to create a new collection of original art to be featured in our pingg Designer Series– an exclusive gallery of original art from both established and up-and-coming artists. Since we are based in New York, we decided to start with our city. Brooklyn was the perfect place to start since three members of the pingg team call the Borough their home.

We called for photography submissions that represented the pride and spirit of Brooklyn. One lucky winner would receive a Fujifilm FinePix digital camera pack–valued at $450! All finalists would be included in the exclusive Brooklyn pingg Designer Series.

Needless to say, the Brooklyn Photography Competition was success. Hundreds of submissions poured in, and thousands of voters came out to decide which photograph showed the true spirit of Brooklyn. From the Brooklyn Bridge to Prospect Park, Coney Island to a neighborhood barber shop, all sides of Brooklyn were represented. Thanks to the hundreds of submissions, we now have a beautiful exclusive Brooklyn Designer Series (coming soon).

With the conclusion of the Brooklyn Photography Competition, there is only one thing to do… get ready for the next one! But this time it up to you to decide the next featured city.
