National Stationery Show

This week pingg took a field trip across town to tour the National Stationery Show, essentially a giant fashion show for the stationery industry. For paper nerds and trade show junkies it is the biggest day of the year and we were excited to have the chance to meet some very creative stationery designers. This huge event is host to almost a thousand companies, taking up the entire Javits Center with aisle upon aisle of everything from witty and sarcastic greeting cards to formal invitations.  We even had the chance to meet up with Hello!Lucky who had their own booth filled with beautiful cards. It was great to see some of the same designs they have in their collection on pingg in letterpress form! You can view their collection for pingg here.

While we came away from the day slightly bleary eyed from walking some 4 or 5 city blocks worth of stationery goods determined to see every booth,  I think getting to see all of that pretty paper and meeting so many fabulous people from the industry made the outing a smashing success.
