New Service Saves Your Business Time, Money and Paper This Holiday Season
PalmStar Entertainment and Agoracom Signed On As Charter Customers
NEW YORK, NY–November 12, 2009–pingg (www.pingg.com), the first online invitation, eCard and event management company to focus on style, aesthetics and design, today announced the launch of eCards for Business. The new service seeks to save companies money this holiday season.
Each year, companies typically spend $20 per employee on printed greeting cards. Now companies will be able to deliver elegant and personalized holiday wishes or promotions to employees and customers through pingg’s eCards for Business platform. In a time of tightened budgets and downsized staffs, this service can save an average of $1,900 (per 100 employees) on holiday expenses. The paperless process also supports corporate efforts toward carbon footprint reduction.
pingg’s eCards for Business provides a central platform to design and deliver custom branded, company approved holiday greetings and promotions. Companies choose from a collection of stylish designs and create their branded experience with corporate logos, colors, links, photos, videos and personalized messages. In just a few steps, a salesperson can send a specific holiday promotion in a stylish eCard to her entire client list. A manager can send year-end appreciation notes to staff. HR can send every employee a personalized holiday message. All of this can be tracked through pingg’s intuitive interface.
In addition to digital eCards, companies can just as easily opt for traditional print greetings using pingg’s service. pingg will print, stamp and deliver printed versions of the customized cards at a discounted price per card. By outsourcing the printing process, companies can maintain design control and still reduce costs.
“Corporate greeting cards are very important to establishing and maintaining relationships both during the holidays and throughout the year,” said George Tsiolis, President of Agoracom. “We chose to go digital with our greetings this year when we saw how pingg’s highly customized eCards for Business service allowed us to include elements of our brand, rather than just using standard clip art or stock images.”
“Now, more then ever, it’s essential for companies to maintain relationships and still be resourceful,” said Stephan Paternot, Co-Founder and Chairman of PalmStar Entertainment. “Switching from traditional printed holiday greetings to pingg’s eCards was an easy decision. With pingg, we can be environmentally friendly, cut costs and still communicate a personal message to our investors and partners.”
“We designed pingg for customers; so they could use it across many facets of their lives. Professional use is a big segment for us, accounting for about 20% of all pingg invites and eCards sent,” said Lorien Gabel, co-founder and CEO of pingg. “Digital communications through Twitter, Facebook, corporate blogs and email are standard practice; companies know this is a powerful way to interact with customers. We recognized an opportunity to help corporate greeting cards go digital with a stylish, simple brand-conscious tool. We have a number of corporate users working with eCards for Business and continue to see interest from new customers.”
pingg will donate a percentage of all revenue made over the 2009 holiday season from the service to a charitable organization focused on fighting cancer.
