Hi, my name is Wendy, also known as 'The Artful Gypsy'. I've always loved reading and art from a very young age. While other kids ran around and played outside, I preferred to run free in the land of 'imagination'! Reading, drawing, taking pictures, writing poems...if it was creative, I was doing it. I'm a 3rd generation Floridian, born, raised and still living in that great playground of a state. Next, came love, marriage, 2 children and becoming my own boss. After getting a scrapbook related business under my belt, I decided to pursue my love of photography and graphic design full time. I signed on with Super Stock / RGB Ventures to rep my Rights Managed Photography, and i work independently as a freelance artist / graphic designer. In the last few years, I've also added 2 blogs to my ever expanding list of creative outlets. www.artfulgypsy.typepad.com My specialty niches include 'retro' photography and art inspired by my favorite holiday, 'Halloween'! If I had to use one word to describe my style...I'd be forced to go with 'eclectic', because I find it very difficult and boring to stick with just one aesthetic. I love having lots of options, and I believe strongly that variety is the spice of life, which is evident in the diversity of my work.
