Chelleline Cards was conceived in 2007 by Michelle Lin during her summer before law school. A desire to return to working with her hands and a towering pile of book catalogues led her to the perfect medium: collage.

Michelle slowly developed her business on the side during law school, selling at the Brooklyn Flea, the Brooklyn Homeshow (a home party thrown in her apartment), and the Brooklyn Lyceum (where she met her fiancé). After she graduated in 2010 and took the bar, she decided to expand Chelleline Cards. Initially based in Brooklyn, Chelleline Cards is now run out of Cary, North Carolina and will soon move to Montreal, Quebec. The collection features both art cards and greeting cards, all either cut-paper collages or prints of original collages.
