Corinne Dean is an artist, crafter, illustrator, a maker of things.

She grew up in Ohio, where she also earned her BFA at the Art Academy of Cincinnati. Her work, whether sewn, drawn, or painted is inspired by childhood stories, and fairytales. She is particularly interested in the mystery a single illustration can create, when taken out of context and viewed on its own. One begins to look at these images differently, and begins to create a new story, their own story.
