Craig Kanarick is an entrepreneur and artist living in New York City.
Always at the forefront of design, technology and the digital arts, Craig is best known as the co-founder and former Chief Scientist of pioneering digital technology consultancy Razorfish. While there, he led hundreds of projects, many of which won design awards and public recognition.
more »There and afterward, his work as a designer and creative director includes projects for Coca-Cola, Charles Schwab, AT&T, Club Med, Sheraton Hotels, Microsoft, AOL, Prodigy, Mario Batali, McDonalds, Blockbuster, and many others.
He earned his Masters in Visual Studies from the MIT Media Lab under the direction of renowned educator and designer Muriel Cooper. In 1995 Craig created The Blue Dot, one of the first online art galleries, much of which is now in the permanent collection of the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art. As Chairman of Rhizome in the late 90's, he was instrumental in the growth and preservation of digital and interactive works of art.
