David Pfendler, a corn-fed Ohio native, was a one-time pre-med student and fashion designer. Giving it all up, David began illustrating TV scripts for Levi's USA, moving on to international advertising campaigns as well as magazine and book projects.

His fresh, graphic style is a blend of urban lifestyle with a fashion bent, and is well-suited for editorial and advertising. Clients include ad agencies such as BBH, Deutsch Inc., J Walter Thompson, Kirschenbaum Bond, Droga5, and brands such as Sprite, Carefree, Puma, Abercrombie and Fitch, Rolex, Axe, Vaseline, and Johnnie Walker. David lives and works in Greenwich Village, NYC.
Then came BUDDY BOY GREETINGS.
It was in a little town called Greenwich Village, New York that boy meets girl (sort of) and two seemingly unrelated careers (theirs) collided to create a working partnership (most of the time) that would eventually spawn BUDDY BOY GREETINGS. Merging artistic, creative, and marketing skills, they came up with a collaboration that blends humor and sentiment, bringing a sweet modern freshness to the greeting card arena. www.buddyboygreetings.com
So David's latest endeavor took him to the greeting card market along with Carla Grande, his friend and artist agent. Carla's expertise runs the gamut: art director, artist agent, producer, designer, and writer. You can find out even more about Carla at www.carlagrande.com
