Do you see any connection between the terms small-town farm girl and totally hip Seattle mama? Give up? They both describe Emily at different stages in her life! But no matter the setting, from her first "little painting project" in high school (a 125 square foot library mural) to her dream business being built today, Emily has always had a talent for art and a love for All Things Cute.
more »She majored in elementary education with a minor in art. After 5 years of teaching, Emily decided to venture out on her own with a line of greeting cards, magnets, and baby clothing. Over the years it has evolved into a design business featuring just about anything you can put on paper. She especially loves working on custom orders (shower and wedding invitations, baby announcements, and personalized stationery), and is compulsively drawn towards designs for kids or those young-at-heart.
Now a work-at-home mom, Emily does her creating while the kiddos are napping or, better yet, with her 3 year old son drawing right alongside her! She gets most of her inspiration from her growing collection of vintage children's books and toys.
