greasychickenface is a freelance illustrator currently living in Toronto. She studied Visual Art, Art History and English Literature at the University of Toronto, however she is primarily a self-taught artist. She is inspired by pine trees, graffiti, birds, travel, rap, grunge, electropop, city landscapes, dreams, mountains, technology, baseball, everyday life superimposed onto fantasy worlds, her two rad kids and a wolf.
more »greasychickenface likes retro meets modern. She collects art supplies (especially paper and ink), vinyl, anything with birds and art books. She prefers to work on paper with ink, watercolors, acrylics and markers. Her favorite time to draw is between the hours of 1:00-3:00 am when there is a quiet buzz of city life and the feeling that something and anything can happen. When she is not drawing she is eating cake or dreaming about thunderstorms.
