Lindsay Brackeen is incredibly nostalgic about her childhood. Recreating her memories is her way of preserving one of the most magical times in her life. The artist grew up in rural Tennessee exploring acres of forest hills and playing in the creek with her siblings. Interactions with nature and a sense of adventure are almost always evident in her work. She loves to sit and sketch near an open window, where she can hear the birds sing and watch the squirrels play a game of chase.

When she's not creating, Lindsay can be found working in her urban veggie garden alongside her husband, enjoying bike rides with her two young daughters, or walking her dog through the park.
