Ginny Roberts was ordained Skinny Ginny as a child; one look at her and it was a given. Blessed with knobby knees and a stick figure, names like High Pockets, Slim, Tall Glass of Water, and Stretch were also floated, but Skinny Ginny stuck.
more »Over the years, Ginny used her camera as the instrument to capture stolen moments of stillness. Formal instruction came from studying at SVA and ICP; informal training was gleaned from her time as an assistant to a celebrity photographer. Add fifteen years in marketing, the die was cast and an archive of imagery was developed.
Ginny Roberts resides in New York City capturing and releasing images. Her most recent project is her new muses, twins Nicholas and Jade.
