Im seeking your Financial support because my educational accomplishments this summer is the prelude to what will be deciding factors in my success as a holder of two diplomas from Virginia Commonwealth University. In this journey I will be traveling to Guatemala for socio-economic & rural development assistance projects. I will also travel to Istanbul, Turkey this summer as an official scholar of the Turkish Coalition of America, a political and cultural organization based in Washington, DC.
  
Upon return, I will become a candidate for the prestigious Fulbright Scholar Program in Public Policy. The Fulbright Program is sponsored by the US Department of State, Bureau of Educational & Cultural Affairs. The program sends graduating seniors abroad for a year to teach English and research public policy in a foreign country.
  
This year in particular has been tumultuous for my family, challenges in every area of all our lives. My mother has made many sacrifices for me to come this far, please help me complete my journey to success. This trip and these travels are costly, yet I see them being the start of many doors to open in the future.
  
As a fulfillment of my duties as a scholar, I will be maintaining a travel blog & photo journal I hope you join me in this journey of educational discovery, personal growth and cultural enrichment. Part of my duties as a scholar is to create and maintain a travel blog of my experience. A simple travel blog will not suffice; I see this opportunity as a greater calling with vast purpose. I have decided to use the blog as an instrument to share my education, to inspire and motivate as well as, touch the hearts and minds of many.
