Dear Sister in Spirit,
  
Ten years ago, I made the very difficult decision to end an organization I loved dearly. I started S.i.S. BookClub in order to find the comraderie I witnessed on the movie "Waiting to Exhale." My sister-friends and I spent three wonderful years together sharing our triumpths and tears over powerful reads and great wine. Because of my love for reading, I knew then it would only be a hiatus for me, I just didnt know it would take 10 years and me travelling 3,000 miles before I would muster the courage to try it again.
  
So here I am, a little older, hopefully a little wiser, new to the area and seeking to recreate that bonds with a new group of women who would like to share in this journey with me. I would love for you to be a part of this adventure with us!
  
My vision for the S.i.S. Bookclub is to be an outlet for a group of diverse women, some married, some single, some mothers, and some just great friends who will be committed to taking time from their busy schedules to bond over a great story. I hope to bring together a group of women who will open themselves to this experience and come with the purpose of empowering each other through the unique bond that only women share.
  
I hope you will be my esteemed guest for our first meeting on SATURDAY JANUARY 26th at 6 PM. Because I always like to hit the ground running, our first discussion book will be "THE DEAL, THE DANCE & THE DEVIL" by Victoria Christopher Murray. Books can be purchased online at amazon.com or bn.com, or you can pick them up at a local bookstore. (Ask them to order it if they don't have it on their shelf!) If you have Nook, I can lend you my ebook. *First Come-First Serve*
  
What will we do? There will be games, we'll share great conversation over refreshments and a glass of wine (or sparkling cidar if you prefer) and discuss the selected title this month. I promise it will be loads of fun!
