Amy Seiwert/im'ij-re will be premiering a new ballet, "White Noise" at the Cowell Theatre in May 2010 as part of the SF International Arts Festival. This bold new work will be a collaboration with Frieder Weiss, Engineer of the arts from Germany who has created dynamic, real-time media for dance and art installation along with Amy Seiwert/im'ij-re's Artistic Associate, Marc Morozumi, visual artist and former dancer with Joe Goode Performance Group. Amy and Marc are long-time friends and formally began their artistic collaboration during a stay at the Headlands Center for the Arts in October 2008. This new piece will be set on eight dancers - choreography by Amy, visual design by Marc and Frieder. 100% of the funds from this Special Event will go directly to the creation of "White Noise."
