You are invited to this year's Northern California Performance Platform exploring issues of Performance and Crisis.
  
The Northern California Performance Platform, hosted last spring at Stanford, is a one-day symposium that brings together faculty, graduate students and arts practitioners from around the region to connect, share research and engage in dialogue concerning urgent conceptual and practical issues at play in the field of Performance Studies.
  
The day will include a morning keynote panel, afternoon workshops and panels on praxis, evening performances and a closing "long table." This year, we are lucky enough to have Performance Studies scholars and practitioners from San Jose State University, San Francisco State University, UC Berkeley, Stanford, San Francisco Art Instiutute, and, ofcourse, UC Davis participate in the day's events.
