Why: All covered entities are required to attend an approved training every two years that covers federal HIPAA regulations and also new regulations that came into effect with Texas HB 300.
  
Who: While anyone who is required to have this training is welcome to attend, it is approved for 3 hours of Ethics through the Texas LPC Board (LPC CE provider – 1474). Additionally, the LMFT, LCSW, and Psychologist Boards have confirmed that these hours meet their Board requirements.
