Message:	Artist Statement Transience: The state or quality of passing with time; ephemeral or fleeting. Transience is a suite of eighteen photographs portraying the beauty of the temporary, the impermanent, the ephemeral. There is a beauty and profundity in nature. The natural cycle of growth, decay and death is an opportunity for understanding and finally the acceptance of the transient natures of our lives. Observing is a path to awakening. Truly seeing is an act that broadens and deepens ones awareness. In every moment everything is either devolving towards or evolving from nothingness. Nothingness is alive with possibility suggesting that the universe is in constant motion toward or away from infinite potential. “Life is as delicate, complex, strong and transient as a spider’s web.” Tanja Ackerman - - - - - - - - - - - - - Simple, light nibbles will be served at the opening.
