Dear Friend,
Fine tune your heart with Integral Heart of NOLA’s inaugural weekend event. We are lucky to be hosting Vidyuddeva, a hip and heartful teacher who brings his special dharma recipe to the Deep South and crescent city for the first time. Can I get a WHO DAT?! If you are a yogi, love a yogi or just want to stretch out your body/heart-come on down!
This is an intimate event with a cap of 30 participants. We are inviting those who we care deeply for and believe will resonate with the tone and intention of this event.
And of course, it is also a great excuse to hang out in New Orleans with your internet sangha or Facebook friends you’ve never met in person! Some of us first met on Zaadz! Remember Zaadz!? And we’ve never met in person…
This event is based on the principles of fun, release and opening. We’ll go first to Stuart Davis’s concert which is within walking distance of the retreat location. Saturday will be filled with teachings during the day and exploration of the city at night. Sunday closes our time together with a guided meditation practice and then optional further study of debauchery and release with your New Orleanian hosts. Sunday activities include attending a second line parade or a final brunch at one of cities many excellent bistros.
The schedule is as follows:
10/26
7pm Meet and Greet---Light refreshments served
9pm Stuart Davis concert
10/27
11:00am-6pm---with 1 hour break----Light refreshments served
Dinner on your own
10/28
10:00am Guided meditation practice
Awesome B and B’s, low cost hostels and many hotels are located within a short distance of the retreat location.

New Orleans is accessible by public transportation easily, including street car. You are also welcome to stay at the dojo where the retreat is held, you will have to bring sleeping bags/pillows. Shower and bathroom are on premise. Feel free to stay in any part of town that calls your name, we can help with suggestions if you get stumped.
I like REM’s Micheal Stipes guide to the city located here:

He knows some really great places to stay and eat.
The entire weekend event is 125.00, Saturday only is 75.00
