More about this hearing The New York State Education Department’s Charter School Office will conduct a Public Hearing on behalf of the Board of Regents to solicit comments from the community regarding the reissuance of Amani’s charter. A Public Hearing is a legally required step in the process for authorizing a charter school in New York State.
