Youth Lab is hosting Dr Vincent Maphai, a Commissioner of the National Planning Commission and the Executive Director of Corporate Affairs and Transformation at SAB Limited. He is also the former Chairman of BHP Billiton Southern Africa.
  
He will be joined by Mr Phumelela Dlamini , a researcher and policy analyst from the Presidency, facilitated by S’ongoba Maseko. The discussion is titled "National Development Plan - Youth engagement and the role of young people" and will give young people from special interest groups and the public, the opportunity to interrogate the National Development Plan, and its ability to address youth needs.
  
The key focus areas for the discussion will include entrepreneurship, education, social development and economic development, all interrogated from the point of view of young South Africans who know these spaces intimately.
